Il arriva au corps le 16 d\u00e9cembre 1808 comme soldat du 11<sup>e<\/sup> r\u00e9giment d&rsquo;infanterie de ligne au 5<sup>e<\/sup> Bataillon 3<sup>e<\/sup> compagnie puis au 3<sup>e<\/sup> Bataillon 3<sup>e<\/sup> compagnie et encore au 1<sup>er<\/sup> Bataillon 3<sup>e<\/sup> compagnie. Il fut bless\u00e9 d&rsquo;un coup de feu \u00e0 la jambe gauche le 17 mai 1809. Malheureusement il ne revint pas.
